Well it's official. We have been in business for a whole year. I would say an organic start, with little money to hit the ground running we had to make priority decisions and grow the business from it's small roots. Have to say we haven't done bad at all and there have been lots of achievements to be proud of as well as learning A LOT along the way.
Our website started with just one product, the "Ta Jar", a thank you jar with baby pineapples which is still one of our bestsellers and has evolved into different versions of itself, a "Ma Jar" then a "New Ma Jar" and even a "Pa Jar" for fathers day. If anyone can rinse anymore out of this with any other suggestions, we are all ears. We now deliver all kinds of bouquets all over london and have a great local following and a lot of regular customers which we are truly thankful for. We are looking into delivering flowers nationally and hopefully will be able to offer this within the next 6 months. We have also soft launched our Flowers On Tap subscription service which has a few clients already, everyone is welcome so get in touch.
Local flowers are delivered with the help of Margo the Cargo bike, the newest addition to the family which is in the process of having a full handpainted makeover. Just at design stage at the moment but think traditional floral barge paintwork and it'll give you a clue. Love for this bike has been growing at a very unhealthy rate. We have also provided flowers for the Pride Of Britain, Pride Of Sports and Animal Hero Awards 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel. The events side of Edie Rose is growing too and in 2016/17 we are looking forward to taking Edie Rose to all the venues and introducing ourselves to the masses. And when we are free, some weekends we have stalls at 2 local markets selling handmade concrete pots, cacti, succulents, terrariums, macrame, air plants in gold dinosaurs and dried flower pictures.
